Summary/Objective
The CDL Driver position is the face of Noble Gas Solutions at Customer locations responsible for ensuring customers receive all requested products in a safe and timely manner. This role reports to the Distribution Manager and has no direct reports.
Responsibilities
- Safely Operate a pallet and/or box truck.
- Load, unload and secure all items safely and efficiently.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, vehicle service, and load information.
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while on the road.
- Communicate effectively with the distribution manager regarding deliveries and any issues encountered during your route.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries.
- Regularly lift/move up to 60lbs.
- Move up to 800lbs with aid of material handling equipment.
- Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL, Class B) with HazMat endorsements and current DOT physical.
- Proven experience as a truck driver with a strong understanding of truck driving regulations.
- Experience with loading and unloading safely.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Physical Demands

Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, or crouch; or occasionally required to sit, climb or balance. Must regularly lift and/or move objects up to 75 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move objects in excess of 125 pounds with the aid of material handling equipment.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position and must work 40 hours each week to maintain full-time status.
Education, Experience & Certification
High School Diploma or equivalent required, two (2) years previous product, warehouse, sales experience, and/or training preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience combined.
Work Authorization
Eligibility to work in the U.S. with the appropriate work authorization documentation.
