St. Catherine’s annual SCCCript & SCCCreen Gala took place on Friday, May 3rd at the Franklin Plaza in Troy, NY. This year’s Gala was Casino Royale themed, with a cut-out of 007 himself greeting you at the door! There was quite the assortment of activities ready for guests’ entertainments. Plus, an endless amount of ways to win big – from the silent action, to the tables, to the wheel of fortune!
St. Catherine’s Mission
St. Catherine’s Center for Children offers therapeutic foster care, residential services for abused and neglected children, housing services for homeless and at risk families, a special education elementary school, and community-based services for vulnerable families. Last year, their programs reached almost 2,000 children and families in the Capital Region. Noble Gas Solutions is proud to continue to support their mission in our local community. That’s why Noble was a Film Producer sponsor for this event, with our Noble Team in attendance.
SCCCript & SCCCreen Gala
The Gala was a night filled with food, drinks, and fun! Card tables were scattered throughout the venue, where guests could bet on their chances of winning at games like blackjack, roulette, and craps. Every game won was another entry into the grand prize of the night – a paid vacation for two to Las Vegas. For those uninterested in gambling at the tables, an Escape Room provided small groups with a chance to test their brain power and race against the clock!
The Noble Team loves some friendly competition! Breaking up into two groups – Noblemen and Noblewomen, they both came out as winners! The men went first, setting a new record for the party and setting the “time to beat†for the ladies. Well, the ladies did just that with only seconds to spare!
St. Catherine’s Executive Director, Frank J. Pindiak, started the night of by speaking on the organization’s mission and impact on the local community The Gala served to raise funds for the organization, and honor CAPCOM, a friend of St. Catherine’s from their beginning. Noble Gas Solutions also believes in their impact, showing support by fundraising and adopting larger families during the holiday season.
