On Saturday, April 30, 2011, several Noble Gas Solutions employees and their family members participated in the Sexual Assault & Crime Victims Assistance Program of Rensselaer County’s Walk a Mile in Her Shoes® walk-a-thon. Walking as a team they proudly raised more than $5,500. Total funds raised for the event exceeded $34,000.
These funds will help provide services to sexual assault victims/survivors and their families that may include: counseling, support groups, therapy, legal advocacy, forensic exams, referrals, assistance with compensation claims, and more.

- as many as 1 out of 4 children will be sexually molested before the age of 18, and in 90% of these cases the victim knows the assailant(s)?
- battering is the major cause of injury to women, resulting in more injuries than auto accidents, muggings, and rapes combined?
- for every reported incident, approximately 14 go unreported?
