Location: Syracuse, NY (Work From Home Flexibility)

Pay: $70,000-150,000 per year.

This position offers untapped earnings capability, landing new customers in industries that include industrial manufacturing and metal fabrication, construction, food and beverage, medical, pharmaceutical and semi-conductor. You will be selling products and services to customers that need to replace outdated or inefficient systems, are unhappy with their existing vendor; as well as providing custom solutions that will help them optimize their processes, lower their productivity costs, and streamline their business. You must have the ability to prospect and develop relationships at the highest levels in the target companies.

We are currently seeking a motivated candidate located in Syracuse, NY who is willing to travel throughout the Central New York area to join our team and help us expand our business while working remotely.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Creating and maintaining a strong pipeline of new opportunities utilizing referrals, networking and cold calling.
  • Developing strong relationships with prospects and customers.
  • Manage a complex sales cycle that creates personalized experiences for customers that extend beyond competitor service platforms.
  • Utilizing Salesforce.com for communicating opportunities with the rest of the sales team.
  • Travel required to prospects and customers.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • 3+ years of sales experience preferred, including cold calling over the phone and in-person.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex sales cycles with multiple decision makers.
  • Knowledge of/familiarity in related industry or selling industrial equipment, supplies, and compressed gases preferred.
  • Proven ability to learn new products and communicate their details effectively.
  • Naturally steers the sales process and moves it toward a decision using time management and organizational skills.
  • Experience expanding on existing accounts and conflict management.
  • Self-motivated to take initiative and execute objectives; achieving personal and company goals.
  • Ability to work independently and with a sales and marketing team to grow business.
  • Experience with CRM systems (Saleforce.com preferred).

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to speak and hear.
  • The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to point, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms.
  • The employee must be able to lift 20lbs at a time.

CONDITIONS

  • This position involves indoor office work and frequent travel to meet with prospects and clients. The candidate must be comfortable with driving, potentially encountering varied weather and traffic conditions.
  • The employee is occasionally exposed to dust, fumes and airborne particles, chemicals in the plant and outdoors near the cylinder plant.

SAFETY REQUIREMENTS

  • Wear appropriate PPE as instructed and whenever in proximity of the plant floor;
  • Comply with all safety policies, procedures, and rules;
  • Refuse and report any unsafe task or operation;

  • Keep constant awareness of personal safety and that of coworkers.
